Finally today, I managed to successfully code an application in Facebook.

I already knew how to start application development in facebook but in my previous attemtps I got discouraged due to lack available documentation.  All the available web tutorials were too old and using old Facebook API's.

I am attaching working code with a lot of debugging turned on, all you will need to do is to change the appid and secret to what your new application has been assigned.
